Why this story is important
Writing the story of discovering your calling is one of the most powerful and insightful stories you can tell. It captures the moment when purpose meets passion — when you realize why you’re here and what truly gives your life meaning. Your calling story helps you and others understand what drives you at your core — your values, motivations, and sense of purpose. By writing it, you clarify the deeper why behind your choices, career, or contributions.
Most people don’t find their calling all at once. It unfolds through experiences, challenges, and moments of awakening. Writing about this process allows you to trace how your life led you here — the signs, mentors, and crossroads that guided your direction. Your story reminds others that purpose is discovered, not assigned. Your calling often defines the contributions you’ll leave behind — the people you’ve helped, the work you’ve done, or the causes you’ve advanced. By writing about it, you connect your life’s purpose to your lasting impact, preserving a meaningful part of your legacy. It’s the story of what you were meant to do — and why it mattered.
