Our Family’s
Huguenot Story
You worked to document your Huguenot lineage. Now preserve the human story behind it— who your ancestors were, how their journey became part of your family, and what that heritage means to you today.
Speak or type your memories. No writing experience required. You stay in control of your story. You retain all rights to your story.

You proved the connection. Now tell what the connection means.
Genealogical records establish names, dates, places and relationships. A family story adds something different: the memories, discoveries, traditions, values and meaning that explain why your Huguenot heritage matters to you.
The National Huguenot Society exists to perpetuate the memory, spirit and deeds of the Huguenots. This guided story gives each family a simple way to carry that work into the next generation.
How it works
The Times of My Life Virtual Biographer guides you from family facts and recollections to a polished story you can review, personalize and share.
Start with your line
Tell us the Huguenot ancestor or family line you know and what you already understand about the connection.
Talk or type
Answer guided questions at your own pace. Share only what you know; you do not need to be a writer.
Your story is written
The Virtual Biographer turns your answers into a coherent narrative while preserving the facts and perspective you provided.
Make it yours
Review and edit the story, then add photographs, documents, narration or other family media before sharing it.
A story only your family can tell
The interview helps you capture the personal side of your Huguenot heritage without requiring you to reconstruct history from scratch.
More than a genealogy record
Your completed story can become a personal heritage keepsake that connects documented ancestry with family memory.
- Read and edit the written narrative before sharing it.
- Add family photographs, documents and meaningful media.
- Narrate it in your own voice or create an audio version.
- Share privately with relatives or through a link you choose to send.
- Optionally produce high-resolution print, audio or video versions.
The technology helps organize and write from what you provide; it does not replace your family’s evidence, memories or judgment.

Before you begin
Do I need to know my entire family history?
No. Start with what you know. The interview is designed to capture your family’s story and your understanding of it, not to test you on Huguenot history.
What should I have with me?
You can begin with nothing more than your memories. If available, it can be helpful to have your ancestor’s name, lineage notes, photographs, family records or other materials nearby.
Does the AI invent missing family history?
No. The Virtual Biographer is designed to write from the facts, memories and reflections you provide. Review the finished narrative and correct anything that does not accurately reflect your family’s story.
Can I come back later?
Yes. You do not need to finish the story in one sitting. Save your progress and continue when you have more time or additional family information.
What does it cost?
There is no charge to use the guided interview or create the written story. Optional high-resolution downloadable formats and production features may carry a small charge.
Can I trust this app with my privacy and story?
Yes. Times of My Life is an app created by the Leaves Public Benefit Corp. Leaves has a strict privacy policy and does not sell user data or display ads. Leaves complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF (UK Extension), and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce.
